Merry Christmas

Well, its the 23rd and we are all ready for Christmas. The boys are getting more excited every day. Noah loves anything to do with Christmas. He loves saying Santa, tree, snowman and snow. Here is a video clip of him saying his favorite Christmas words.

Anthony has been counting down the days and he can't believe there is only one more day left until Christmas eve. Here is Anthony and his friend Shawn wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

D.C.

Last weekend, Chad and I took a trip to D.C. without the boys. (Woo Hoo!) John and Carol were nice enough to watch our boys for us so we could have a little husband wife time. We had so much fun!!!!

When we arrived to D.C. on Saturday morning it was snowing. It was so beautiful seeing the snow fall every where. The only downside was we didn't want to walk around the monuments because of the snow and the fact it was cold and the fact that we are from AZ. (ha,ha). So Chad's cousin Becca was nice enough to drive us all around D.C. and give us our own private tour. She knew all the great places to drive us since she lives right in the heart of D.C. It was amazing to see everything!

Rich & Cherrie let us stay at their amazing 5 story house in D.C. It was incredible! The house had a lot of stairs but also has an elevator which came in handy when when we brought home the groceries. I had so much fun that night helping Cherrie and Becca decorate their 14 ft Christmas tree!

On our last day there we got to go to The Hansen Family Suite at the Redskins game. It was my first professional football game and I loved every minute of it! Chad's Dad Ron and Uncle Ralph were also there enjoying the game with us. Oh yes, and Chad's cousin Caleb was there too with his beautiful fiance Jessica. We had so much fun cheering for the Redskins and spending time with our family.

Can't wait to see our East Coast Family again. We love you!!

Thanksgiving in Truckee

Okay, I know...I am really behind in my blog. I promise I will update this more often.

So for Thanksgiving, Ron (aka Gramps) invited us to his house. His house is in Truckee CA which is about 30 minutes from Reno NV. The high was about 30 degrees and the low was 12 degrees. Freezing for us Arizonians.

He made us a very delicious dinner! We all loved the home cooked food that Ron made for us. We even had turkey omelets the next morning. Noah ate almost a whole omelet by himself.

The boys had so much fun playing in the snow. Anthony made snow angels, had a snow ball fight with his Gramps and got to see where his Gramps worked. Noah also enjoyed the snow but got mad when his hands got too cold.

We had a wonderful time and can't wait to visit again...hopefully when its a little warmer.

Here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip....

Goodbye

Goodbye my sweetheart
My precious little one
I only knew you for a short time
But fell in love with you from day one

I will miss not being able to see you grow
In fact, I will miss you more then you will ever know

I may not ever be able to see your face
But I can see you every night in my dreams, my little baby angel face

Goodbye sweet one

Happy Halloween

This Halloween was so much fun!

Anthony dressed up as Luigi this year and Noah was a cuddly little monkey. We went trick or treating with Cody, Crystal and Jamison. Jamison was a tiger with a great Roar! Here are some pictures of all three of the boys.

Chad and I went to a Halloween party at our friend's Vicky & Jae's house and we had so much fun. Their house was amazing with every room decorated with tons of spooky fun decorations!! Here are some pictures from the party.

October...

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the gap in my blogs but we have been very very busy these last couple weeks. We have had a very exciting announcement in our family. My beautiful sister Casie is getting married in March! We went this weekend to look at the site that her and her wonderful groom-to-be, Denny have picked out. It is absolutley amazing! We can't wait to see our little sis walk down the aisle (sob!)

The boys are both doing great...

Anthony just started soccer practice.
His team in the Earthquakes and their uniforms are going to be light blue and navy. Blue and blue...this makes Anthony very happy since blue is his favorite color of course. Anthony also got straight A's on his report card and got to eat ice cream with the Principal on Friday as a special treat for getting all A's. The airplane he is holding in this picture is from his Gramps (Ron) for doing so good on his report card. He is very proud of himself and so are we. :)

Noah is still struggling with all of the new teeth he is getting in. The good news is we can tell that most of them are starting to break through his gums so hopefully the painful part will be over soon. We try to keep him as happy as possible by letting him watch Barney over and over again and also by letting him play basketball outside. He is obsessed with basketball and whines until Chad picks him up and lets him throw the ball through the big hoop we have in our driveway. His new words this month are: Pop Pop, Basketball, Red, Barney, Denny, Okay, Pizza and we are working on Gramps and Grammy. Oh I forgot to mention in an earlier post that Noah is very good at saying NaNa. He says it all the time now when we pull up to Carol's house. He knows his NaNa is inside, it is very cute.

Finally, Chad and I are doing very good. We went to a Phoenix Suns pre-game on Friday night and got to sit in a suite. It was very fun because we were able to bring a bunch of people with us to enjoy the game. It was also good for the kids because they were all able to run around while others could enjoy the game.

We are very blessed for all our family and friends. I promise I will post more pictures tonight or tomorrow. Hope you all have a great week!

Noah Says Ma Ma

Finally, I captured Noah on video saying Ma-Ma. Isn't he sweet?

Lost Tooth, New Tooth

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had a great week! We have been really busy as always keeping up with our two little guys.

This was a pretty big week for Anthony. He lost his front tooth at school and was unable to find his lost tooth. Although Anthony was heart broken by his lost lost tooth, the Tooth Fairy accepted Anthony's letter of explanation that he left her under his pillow in place of the tooth. Anthony was very excited to see that the Tooth Fairy accepted his letter. :) Here is a picture of him without his front tooth. Anthony also received a Math award from school this week for getting 100% on his Math test. We are very proud!

Noah on the other hand, is getting a new tooth way in the back of his mouth. He has had lots of drool and has been extra fussy. When you put your finger in his mouth you can finally feel a sharp point. So hopefully since it has broken through the gums it won't be so painful for him anymore. Noah loves dancing to his favorite friend Barney. Here is a video of him getting down to a song about Autum. PS - if you wait until the very end of the clip, you can see that I totally busted Anthony dancing along too. (hehee) (sorry you have to turn your head sideways to enjoy this one. I'm not that high tech to fix it)

For the rest of the weekend we just hung out at home and tried to stay out of the hot weather. It is still over 100 degrees here in Arizona. We are counting down the days until October arrives. Hopefully by then we will be down to at least the 90's.

Hope everyone is doing well!!

Noah is 15 months!

Well it was a long weekend but Noah finally is over this stomach bug he had. He had it for about 5 days and was not able to eat anything with dairy in it. Which meant, he was not able to drink milk! This was very hard for our little man since he loves milk and cheese. The good news is, he is finally over it and back to his cheerful happy self again!

As of the 2nd, he is officially 15 months old! Can you believe it? The time has really gone fast for Chad and me. Noah is very much a toddler now and his baby qualities are starting to leave. He can now say cracker, hot, outside, thank you, I love you, brother, dah dah, ma ma and is working on all done. His favorite things to do are to go outside, play ball and follow his big brother around. He is getting really good at keeping up with him.

Here is a picture of the little guy enjoying some fruit loops. Look at him with the spoon, he is such a big boy!

Anthony's 1st Day of 1st Grade

Hi Everyone!!

This blog page is meant to be a quick way to update our friends and family on our crazy busy lives. I hope you all enjoy reading this and seeing pictures of our beautiful little boys.

Today was Anthony's 1st day of 1st grade! When he woke up this morning he was very excited to get dressed and to gel his hair "like daddy." However at breakfast he hardly ate anything and when I asked him why he told me, "I am too excited Mom!" Yes, Mom, he is so grown up you know! :)

So we get in the car, all 3 of us - Anthony, Noah and me and we start driving to school. Anthony says nothing the whole time. In fact, the only noise in the car is the sound of Noah singing to himself and telling me that things outside are "hot". As we get closer to Anthony's school, he tells me his tummy doesn't feel so good. He is super nervous! I assure him everything will be okay and that he will do great in first grade. He jumps out of the car and asks me to wish him luck. "Good Luck!" I say as my heart starts pounding harder and harder for my little man. Hoping and wishing that he has a great day.

At 2:50pm I get a call from Chad and I can hear Anthony in the background sounding very happy. He gets on the phone with me and tells me he had the best day ever. He loves his teacher, made a new friend and most importantly did not get lost!!

Look at our little man. He is so grown up!
